Web 3.0 vs Web 2.0: A Writing Revolution
How Web 3.0 is Rewriting the Rules of Writing, Ownership, and Monetization Forever The Broken Promise of Web 2.0 For decades, writers have been trapped in a system that rewards platforms over creators. The Web 2.0 era turned content into a commodity—owned by corporations, monetized through ads, and dependent on algorithms. Writers became cogs in a machine, trading their time and talent for…

hi visenyaism, sorry i know this is mainly an asoiaf blog but I loved your literacy & kids in school analysis and i had a question. idk if you're familiar with the "male flight" from college substack article making the rounds on tumblr (tldr: the author takes the thesis of this sociological paper that men stopped enrolling in vet school once women enrollment hit 60% and suggests that it could explain why men's enrollment in college generally has fallen bc women's enrollment has now hit that 60% threshold & men, or well, straight men, want to avoid anything deemed too feminine) and I was wondering if you've also noticed that men / boys tend to devalue going to college and generally had any thoughts on this phenomenon?
Hm. Here’s the article if you haven’t read it:
I agree with her about a lot. I think a lot of it really is that we beat into young girls’ heads from the start that you need to work hard and become financially and professionally independent because of you don’t you will be dependent on and taking care of a man forever. But boys are way more likely to get the “don’t worry you will find someone to take care of you no matter what it is what you deserve” message. I have noticed a rise of this anti-college intellectualism particularly in young men that it is a scam and that even if you get a job, it’s gonna be like the beginning of fight club where it’s like super emasculating to do that because you’re following the system.
I can tell you it’s a common phenomenon in high schools that honors classes are disproportionately female and standard level classes are disproportionately male. Some of it is just outperformance (which I think is the aforementioned messaging difference and also just because I think we hold young women to a higher standard academically and behaviorally and they react accordingly.) I have talked to male students who have insinuated that performing well in school is kind of girly because it’s like being submissive.
The messaging facing young men that going to college is overrated because that kind of 9-to-5 white collar job you’re supposed to get as a result is inherently kind of feminine or cuck or beta or whatever is common. Of the group of students not going to college after they graduate I think girls are in my experience more likely to have a plan like they’re joining the military or they’re going to trade school or they’re going to community college or taking a year off. Whereas boys Are more likely to have that mentality that they’re gonna become an influencer or a day trader or crypto whatever or a twitch streamer because that’s more alpha than following the system. I think a lot of our anti-intellectualism in society is a result of this messaging that going to college is now girly.
What I really hate is when people point at high levels of women enrolling in college as evidence that the system is rigged in favor of women which has never been true and is not true currently. I feel like “male flight” is not a complete answer, but it is definitely more comprehensive of an explanation than a lot of the other ones I’ve heard.

TERFs Announce New Partnership with 4chan
By mushycrouton, Investigative Reporter for the Department of Unholy Alliances
Tumblr media
In a development that has both baffled sociologists and sent irony spiraling into a coma, prominent trans-exclusionary radical feminists (TERFs) have announced a formal strategic partnership with notorious internet cesspool and meme factory, 4chan.
The alliance, unveiled at a press conference held on a blank Discord server and immediately doxxed by everyone in attendance, is being hailed by critics as “the ideological equivalent of a vegan marrying a chainsaw.”
“We may disagree on literally everything,” said self-described TERF spokesperson Judith Daggerstone, sporting a scarf made of J.K. Rowling tweets. “But we found common ground in our deep commitment to bullying transgender people and making the internet as uninhabitable as possible.”
Representatives from 4chan, many of whom prefer to speak in ASCII art and riddles, issued a joint statement via a photoshopped image of a frog screaming at a Starbucks cup.
A Collision of Contempt
Experts are calling the alliance a “catastrophic synergy” of two movements that, until recently, shared nothing but mutual disdain and an overuse of the word “biological.” TERFs, long associated with second-wave feminism, artisanal substack newsletters, and a near-religious obsession with chromosomes, had previously denounced 4chan as “a toxic male playground for anime-obsessed crypto-incels.”
Meanwhile, 4chan users had historically referred to TERFs as “the final boss of feminism,” “Karen Palpatines,” and “people who make Reddit look emotionally stable.
But according to insiders, years of shared hatred forged an unlikely détente.
“It was beautiful,” said one anonymous 4chan user who goes by the screen name CisH3ll_Rider. “They posted a badly cropped infographic about how ‘gender isn’t real’ and we were like, ‘Damn. Same.’”
Rebranding Hate with Retro Fonts
To commemorate the merger, the two groups unveiled a joint logo: a flaming lavender biohazard symbol wrapped in barbed wire, with the tagline “Oppression, But Make It Retrograde.”
They also launched a new website, BiologicalFacts.biz, which features:
A chatbot trained on 1990s biology textbooks and the comments section of The Times of London
A merchandise store selling tote bags that say “Gender is a construct (but only yours)”
A 12-part podcast series hosted by a former feminist scholar and a man who thinks The Matrix was a documentary
The site crashed within hours, not due to traffic, but because someone tried to code it using Excel.
Collaboration in Action
Since the partnership, TERF forums and 4chan threads have been working together seamlessly to develop cutting-edge bigotry and digital gaslighting tools.
Some highlights include:
The TERFchan™ Meme Forge, where aging boomers contribute text and 4chan teens provide pixelated rage comics.
Operation Bio-Real, an ill-conceived campaign to sneak biology textbooks into drag shows.
Project MisgenderBot, an AI trained to correct pronouns in Wikipedia articles using Morse code and passive aggression.
There are even rumors of a themed live event tentatively titled “Womyn Fest: No Pronouns, No Peace”, with guest speakers ranging from fringe academic grifters to banned Twitter accounts with anime avatars and emotionally distant fathers.
Critics React: “This is Peak Internet”
Reaction to the alliance has been swift and unrelenting. Civil rights organizations have condemned the partnership as “a hate crime with a business model.” Feminist groups across the spectrum have disavowed the TERFs involved, stating:
“Radical feminism is about dismantling patriarchy, not applying it selectively like Instagram filters.”
Meanwhile, Reddit users attempted to mount a counter-movement but got distracted by a debate over oat milk.
Dr. Beatrix Norn, a political theorist and specialist in Extremist Internet Collaborations, offered insight:
“This is a textbook example of ideological horseshoe theory: two diametrically opposed groups meeting at the far ends of logic and decency, fusing into something that somehow manages to be both self-righteous and deeply online.”
Inside the Discord Server
Journalists gained access to a leaked Discord server titled #TERFchan_StrategyLair, where users discussed topics such as “how to make bullying look like feminism,” “are facts transphobic if we shout them?”, and “can you be gender-critical and still stan BTS?”
One user named RadFemRemington posted:
“We’re finally being taken seriously. Even if it’s by teenagers who think women’s rights peaked with Lara Croft’s original polygonal boob physics.”
Another replied:
“L + misogyny + cope.”
A Union Destined to Implode?
While the alliance is currently thriving in a grotesque sort of harmony, most analysts agree that it’s unlikely to last. Tensions are already brewing over key issues like whether women can exist without baking sourdough and if anime counts as a political philosophy.
4chan operatives have reportedly started inserting anime trans girls into TERF memes just to “see what happens,” while TERF leaders have begun compiling a blocklist so long it now includes most of the planet.
“Eventually,” said Dr. Norn, “one side is going to realize the other doesn’t actually care about women at all, and the other will realize they’ve allied with someone who uses the term ‘AFAB’ like it’s a slur.”
Until then, however, the internet will continue to reel from this collision of vitriol and irony.
Stay tuned for the next press release: a potential three-way alliance with Bitcoin evangelists.

Dreams, Drive & Disruption: How Millennials and Gen Z are Rewriting India's Future
Millennials and Gen Z are not just shaping the future of India, they are the future. From rejecting traditional careers to leading digital revolutions, here's how they're changing everything.
By Juie Bele
Tumblr media
India is experiencing a generational shift like never before. At the center of it all? Millennials and Gen Z, young, bold, and unapologetically redefining what it means to live, work, and dream.
India’s Youthquake:
India isn’t just a young country in spirit, it’s young by numbers too. With over 65% of the population under 35, the transformation we’re witnessing is massive, visible, and unstoppable. At the core of this revolution are Millennials and Gen Z, two generations rewriting the rules on work, ambition, money, relationships, and identity. They’re not asking for change, they are the change.
A New Kind of Dream:
The old Indian dream was simple, government job, city flat, family, and early retirement. Safe, predictable, respected. But that’s not the dream anymore. Today’s youth are chasing.
· Passion over pressure
· Freedom over familiarity
· Purpose over prestige
They’re building brands from bedrooms, freelancing with international clients, launching startups before turning 25. They’re making bold, self-defined choices, driven by meaning, not just money
Careers without a Corporate Ladder:
Millennials questioned the system, Gen Z rebuilt it. Gone is the formula of engineer, MBA, corporate manager. In its place? A new generation of:
· Creators on Instagram and YouTube
· Designers freelancing from remote Indian towns
· Coders trained via online bootcamps
· Writers running successful newsletters and blogs
In this world, skills beat degrees. Portfolios matter more than resumes. Platforms like YouTube, Substack, and Behance are the new career springboards. The gatekeepers are gone, the gates are open.
Not Just Jobs, Journeys:
Today’s careers aren’t ladders, they’re winding paths of discovery. Young Indians are choosing,
· Remote work over rigid routines
· Renting over buying, for flexibility
· Freelancing over 9 to 5, for freedom
· Side-hustles over side-tables, for self-expression
They’re not unstable, they’re intentional. And they’re choosing experiences over possessions, meaning over monotony.
Financially Fierce:
This isn’t your parent’s version of money management. Young Indians today are:
· Investing in mutual funds, index stocks, and crypto learning about personal finance on Instagram and YouTube
· Managing multiple income streams, from affiliate marketing to remote gigs
· They’re delaying marriage, avoiding debt, and rejecting outdated financial timelines.
For them, financial freedom is power, and they’re claiming it early.
Socially Conscious, Digitally Native:
Gen Z was raised online, but they use the internet for more than just memes. They’re
· Advocating mental health and ending the stigma around therapy
· Challenging inequality, gender, caste, sexuality, climate, and more calling out injustice, both online and offline
· Activism isn’t a side hobby, it’s woven into their identity.
From Instagram infographics to climate protests, they’re showing us what 21st-century citizenship looks like.
But the Tension is real:
Behind the cool jobs and viral posts, there is still; parental pressure to pick “safe” careers, mental health struggles in a hyper-digital, hustle-heavy world, uncertainty in a job market shaped by AI and automation, Loneliness and burnout, even in this hyperconnected age.
But the response is different. They’re talking openly, seeking help, prioritizing therapy, boundaries, and community. Vulnerability is no longer a weakness, it’s a superpower.
What This Means for India:
It means India’s future isn’t coming, it’s already here:
· The 20-year-old launching an ed-tech startup
· The small-town designer working with a client in Berlin
· The student podcasting about mental health in Hindi
· The young couple choosing to travel instead of settling down. They’re not rejecting tradition for the sake of it, they’re refining it, rebuilding it, and reimagining it. This isn’t rebellion. This is reinvention.
If you’re a young Indian reading this, keep going. Your dreams are valid. Your journey is powerful. Your choices are yours. And if you’re not from this generation, start listening. Because the future is speaking, and it’s speaking in their voice.

some notes on girlblogging
deep appreciation of bell hooks as a girlblogger [in piecing together her spiritual practice, she writes that she takes bits and pieces from different practices]
caroline busta’s piece in document magazine from 2021 lives in my head rent free [Instead of attempting to dismantle the master’s house using the master’s tools, it’s more something like: Let’s pool crypto to book the master’s Airbnb and use the tools we find there to forge a forest utopia that the master could never survive.]
ace sparkly kat's / adrienne maree brown's / alina stefanscu's / chia amisola's / olivia mckayla ross' prolific archival practices
substack scares me / i don’t know how to write on substack though i enjoy reading others’ (i mustered one post from fall 2022/winter 2023 & summer 2022)........ & this piece by terry nguyen on girlblogging is so good (its limits, its situatedness)
it’s mother’s day; continually thinking of EEAAO- that reconciliation after estrangement because of relational shifts made between the mother daughter; also thinking of discourse & how people were split on how realistic and/or insufferable this relationship was - it made me think of a real sort of an illusory learned helplessness that (not exclusively but whose experience i am familiar with) asian american daughters carry from growing up
in a generous reading/workshop, dana suggested the futurity of girlhood in a line i wrote; elsewhere, i wonder about how we give our childhoods futures, as we live with our child selves, how the ways we care for our children indicate how a society stewards its future
anything bell hooks has written about girlhood and children and the meditative distance between her self and ideas via the pen name she adopted
kaitlin m chan on the stakes - on a predecessor to girlblogging, collaging the overlaps between lived experiences, embodied reality, social/political/structural/institutional power - developing curiosity around others’ realities and interior worlds - locating oneself in this personal canon thru this process - how one’s personal canon becomes a chorus
the personal, circuitous routes we take in locating ourselves / desire paths / the sylvia plath quote i used for my senior quote - to speak deeply with anyone
spent the last year essay texting, and addressing public groups in in-person settings [facilitating workshops, readings, speaking] -- this was very Character Building For Me [i'm chasing the humanities based, discussion-based learning communities i didn't let myself have in undergrad]
there are so many different registers i want to speak in, simultaneously, on the internet; i want it to feel as seamless as i feel when i move between different social spaces in a given day and find myself naturally shifting with where i am
girlblogging as a practice in making the weather… the conditions for precipitating … girlcondensation as a practice in raining down, decisively
thank u to kazumi w whom i find lots of welcomed condensation <3

The PR Agency Insider: What You Need to Know Before You Sign
Tumblr media
Hiring a PR agency feels like picking a wingman for a make-or-break night out. You need someone who’s got your back, knows the scene, and won’t leave you hanging when things get messy. A solid agency brings experience, strategy, and execution to hype your brand, but those words can sound like empty hype if you don’t know what they look like in action. I’ve been through this rodeo, and picking the wrong team can leave you with a headache and an empty wallet. Thank God for PR Agency Review — it’s like a buddy who’s already scoped out the best spots. Wanna know how 9-Figure Media vs. Edelman holds up? Buckle up, let’s spill the tea on what you’re really getting into.
Section 1: Experience Is Your Street Cred
Experience isn’t just a fancy logo or a website with too many animations. It’s the war stories an agency’s got from dodging PR trainwrecks, nailing big media wins, or charming a reporter who’s already over it. My buddy’s startup once hired this “hip” agency that didn’t know their industry from a hole in the wall. Their press releases? Straight-up cringeworthy, like something a chatbot coughed up. Nobody cared. Now, think about 9-Figure Media, which lives for tech startups, or Edelman, with connections so deep they probably know the Pope. Experience means they speak your language — whether you’re hawking crypto or vegan cupcakes.
But here’s the real talk: experience can make some agencies act like they’re too cool for school. They’ll lean on lazy tricks, like firing off emails to journalists who hit “spam” faster than you can blink. The good ones? They’ve got the old-school network and the new-school hustle — X influencers, niche Substacks, or that podcast your customers are obsessed with. PR Agency Review is my ride-or-die for this. It’s got these juicy breakdowns that show who’s mixing OG cred with fresh vibes.
I gotta confess, though — sometimes I wonder if we’re too hung up on experience. A new agency with fire in their gut can outshine some dinosaur that’s just cashing checks. But you can’t fake a contact list built over decades or the chill of someone who’s talked a client off the ledge at 5 a.m. Scroll through PR Agency Review to see who’s got the sauce, not just a pretty pitch.
Section 2: Strategy Is Your Battle Plan
Strategy is what keeps your PR team from running around like headless chickens. Without it, you’re just hoping for a miracle. A good agency doesn’t just nod when you say, “We need more hype.” They dig in, ask the annoying questions, and whip up a plan that’s legit. Are you dropping a new app? Wanna look like the next Elon? Or just trying to not get roasted on X? They’ll turn your big dreams into stuff you can actually measure — think media hits, X likes, or a glow-up in how people vibe with your brand.
I’ve seen strategies that looked like they belonged in a PowerPoint Hall of Fame but flopped harder than a bad rom-com. One agency tried to push a B2B client into fashion mags — adorable, but who’s reading that? A real agency gets your crowd. 9-Figure Media might lock in on tech blogs to pump up a startup, while Edelman builds these massive, world-domination campaigns for corporate heavyweights. Both can slap, but only if they’re made for you. PR Agency Review is a total clutch move here, laying out how agencies plan so you can pick one that feels right.
Okay, here’s where I’m torn. You know your brand better than anyone, so why let some suit take the wheel? But then, a fresh perspective can hit you with ideas you’d never dream up. I once told an agency to ditch newspapers and go all-in on X. Risky? Sure. But our reach went bananas. A good strategy feels like you’re riffing with a friend, not getting a lecture from Professor Jargon. Speaking of, if they start throwing around “omnichannel synergy,” run.
Section 3: Execution Is Where the Magic (or Mayhem) Happens
Tumblr media
Execution is where your big plans either pop off or crash and burn. It’s the pitch that lands you on Forbes, the crisis response that kills a scandal, or the event that’s got everyone posting fire emojis on X. But it’s not just about hustling — it’s about finesse. A dope agency knows which reporter will vibe with your story, when to drop that press release, and how to switch gears when the universe says, “Not today.”
I’ll never forget this one time an agency pulled a straight-up miracle, getting a client on a major news show with barely any notice. How? They’d prepped the client with talking points so slick, it felt like they were chilling with the host, not sweating under studio lights. That’s execution done dirty. 9-Figure Media is a beast at quick, sniper-shot campaigns, while Edelman orchestrates these global rollouts like they’re directing a blockbuster. Both can deliver, but it’s different flavors. PR Agency Review is your cheat code — check their case studies for stuff like traffic spikes or media wins.
But, man, execution can go so wrong. I’ve seen teams drop balls — missed deadlines, some intern botching a pitch, or worst, ghosting you when the heat’s on. Ask the real questions: who’s running my show? How do you keep me posted? A good agency doesn’t leave you in the dark. If I’m keeping it 100, execution is where I turn into a control freak. A killer strategy is just noise if the team can’t make it happen.
Section 4: Measuring Success Without the Fairy Dust
How do you know your agency’s worth the cash? Success isn’t just a warm fuzzy — it’s numbers, impact, and maybe that moment you’re like, “Damn, we’re kinda famous.” A solid agency sets clear goals from day one: maybe 10 banger articles, a 20% traffic jump, or turning a PR nightmare into a redemption arc. But let’s not kid ourselves — PR isn’t always a quick win. Sometimes it’s about laying groundwork that pays off later, like a feature that brings in clients months down the road.
PR Agency Review is like a lie detector for agencies. It compares their track records so you can see who’s for real. 9-Figure Media might target niche outlets to catch investors’ eyes, while Edelman goes for huge, splashy coverage to make you a big deal. Both can work, depending on your hustle. I got suckered once by an agency obsessed with “impressions” but blind to the fact that half our coverage was shade. Total facepalm. Quality always trumps quantity.
Top agencies use tools like Meltwater to track the real stuff — sentiment, conversions, not just a pile of clippings. They’re also straight-up about screw-ups. If a campaign flops, they’ll own it and pivot, not blame “weird media vibes.” I can’t deal with agencies that dodge the truth, so demand clear reports — weekly, monthly, whatever. Success should feel like a fist bump, like when your brand’s story hits and you’re grinning like an idiot.
Section 5: Picking an Agency Without a Meltdown
Tumblr media
Choosing a PR agency is like picking a hype man — you need someone who’s got your energy, shows up clutch, and doesn’t steal the spotlight. Start with the basics: what’s your budget? Your timeline? Your dealbreakers? Then hit up PR Agency Review to sort the chaos. It’s like a friend dishing the dirt on who’s worth your time, with side-by-side reports that keep it real. Wanna know how APCO vs. BCW stacks up? APCO is your policy geek, slaying for brands stuck in red tape. BCW brings the creative heat, making your story pop on social. Pick what vibes with you.
I once went with an agency because their pitch felt like grabbing beers with a homie — they just got us. That’s the goal. Meet the team, see if they’re asking smart questions or just nodding like bobbleheads. Big firms like BCW have all the toys but can feel like you’re just a number. Smaller shops bring soul but might not have global pull. PR Agency Review lays it all out so you’re not guessing.
Here’s my hot take: don’t get blinded by big names. A scrappy underdog might fight harder than a giant. But always check references and read the contract — I’ve been burned by “we’ll figure it out” vibes, and it’s the worst. Trust your gut, but do your homework. A great agency makes your brand feel unstoppable, and with the right experience, strategy, and execution, they’ll get you there. Just don’t dive in without a quick peek at PR Agency Review.

thursday - friday
drawing more at the moment.
working on black lines now... just the beginning but it looks good ! i think the most difficult part is mostly done now. but it maybe isn't actually the hardest part... who knows.
talking to a friend about evil people online.
youtube
some people are just worth less than dust. speaking mostly of the whole thiel adjacent world.
thinking of this thing foucault once said, paraphrasing, something about how through history people are convinced they have lost something, and then come upon something to light that lost portion of knowledge, almost, from the enlightenment to the tech we currently see. proliferation of ai's as custodian to language/possibility/definition of the human/ perfection of cybernetics, and the web3 desires in general, money that accomplishes nothing, an infinity of confidence games, for what, i seriously can't tell. i suppose, at the most cynical level, a light which reifies various values in an almost scientific way, or, with the appearance of science, ai reifies all that surrounds it since it can only spit out its surroundings, reconfigured. what does crypto reify, markets upon markets, various invisible hands, there is some kind of science, surely, in which do well, reify the notion you have to spend to make money, reproduction of the present into a panoply of images you cannot escape, for their infinity.
who knows. just like that one song/... . . . . / . .. i don't know.
lol.
unpleasant to think about things like rohit/miya/charoltte fang having apparently worked for palantir, that all these people seem to really actually know each other, that it won't die, that it keeps existing. is urbit active? who knows. i don't want to know but i think i have to.
what the fuck is this shit. i wish it had a human head so i could kick it until it was dented and bleeding.
it seems like it's actually dead already. that's good. who asked for a crypto enabled... substack?? substack where every post is also an nft? and you like it by minting it? what is this?
my friend sent me one of rohit's articles. it's basically some jordan peterson type junk.
totally totally totally totally totally humiliating post. it's crazy how people talk like that, still, though, or like, you see people into all that grindset shit, and also like, young people being like, get a job, i have to start getting money. etc. fantasies of success, being 'someone,' good things coming their way.
i didn't do any music stuff today, but the drawing is going well. i am eager for that one to be done. that way something else can be started, with drawing. but i like the kind of messy this one is. maybe the next one will be messy too.
i'm really tired and i think my sleep is now bad again! or the schedule is bad. when i do sleep the sleep is fine. except falling asleep is hard. but whatever. also i wake up sore a lot and stuff. who knows.
lately i feel so stupid. i don't know why. i have written a tiny bit, today, i should go back to that story and bring it into a separate doc so i can arrange it with more ease and see what comes out of that process. what a crazy non-sequitur.
the feeling stupid, i don't know. i mean i said i don't know why, it feels like i'm a rat scratching at a wall, thinking about it, or like, maybe i just want myself to feel that way and it's really obvious, i just feel trapped in something, and like i can't do anything to help that. i just need to get out of the house, maybe. maybe i just need to read, maybe i just need to make myself do absolutely nothing sometimes. maybe i am just dumb. i keep worrying, stupidly, what if (x) things are making me lose brain cells. i don't even know how true a thing that is. i've always worried about that since i was a child. it feels bad that some things won't disappear, from my mind, like that. i hate that i feel like a basically worthless pet sometimes.
i need to sleep. i don't even feel that bad, i just feel some kind of anxiety, like something is wrong, so i am trying to probe at things that feel wrong. but everything just feels wrong, i guess.
i mean not everything. today has been nice, i'm just like this i guess.

Join Michael Popok for his weekly podcast The Intersection, exclusively on the MeidasTouch Network, where he calls out corruption and dismantles the spin with his signature blend of legal insight, zero tolerance for BS, and just the right dose of courtroom fire and levity.
Popok drills down on: Trump’s latest unbelievable crypto scandal; Trump’s “breakup” with the Federalist Society and what it means; his coordinated attack on women and their right to choose—this time by reversing a Biden policy that allowed federally funded doctors to provide abortions as part of emergency care; the growing pardon scandal, including Trump wiping out over $1 billion owed to Americans with the stroke of a pen; and the Democrats fighting to stop Trump’s efforts to block federal judges from holding his administration in contempt—all that and more at The Intersection.

Trump’s crypto dinner was just labeled as a “personal dinner” by Trump’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt. Thspeaket above statement suggests that as a personal event, Trump cannot spin the event as an official act and, therefore, is not covered by the presidential immunity protection granted him by the SCOTUS. Unfortunately, the video clip does not name an actual crime being committed. Yes, Trump is violating the emolument restrictions of the Constitution, but is this violation a crime outside of the Presidency itself?

Crypto Marketing Playbook: Growth Hacks for Web3 Projects
Tumblr media
The Web3 revolution is in full swing, but building a game-changing product is only half the battle. The other half? Getting people to notice it. That’s where a strong crypto marketing strategy comes into play. In the fast-paced world of blockchain and decentralization, traditional marketing doesn’t cut it. Web3 projects need innovative, data-driven, and community-led growth hacks to gain visibility and traction.
Welcome to the Crypto Marketing Playbook — your go-to guide for boosting awareness, engagement, and adoption in the decentralized era.
1. Build in Public: Transparency is the New Trust
Unlike traditional startups, Web3 projects thrive on community participation. Openly sharing your project’s journey—successes, failures, updates, and even your roadmap—builds trust and makes users feel like they’re part of the mission.
Growth Hack: Use platforms like X (Twitter), Mirror.xyz, and Farcaster to post dev updates, host AMAs, and drop behind-the-scenes content. Tag niche communities, ecosystem DAOs, and respected thought leaders in your space to boost visibility and spark organic amplification. Make them feel like part of the story—not just an audience.
2 Tap Into Community-Led Media & Web3 Content Creators
In Web3, influence isn't centralized—it lives in niche communities and creator collectives. Instead of chasing traditional influencers, focus on collaborating with independent Web3 storytellers, YouTube educators, Twitter thread-makers, and newsletter curators who are deeply embedded in the ecosystem.
Growth Hack: Partner with creators from platforms like Paragraph, Substack, or decentralized content hubs like Mirror.xyz. Sponsor a deep-dive article or co-create a video explaining your protocol in plain language. Reward content creators in tokens or NFTs, and let their communities engage through a bounty or referral mechanic.
3. Gamify Onboarding with Quests
Users want to interact, earn, and explore—not scroll through PDFs. The best way to explain your project? Let them experience it firsthand. Make onboarding fun with gamified missions that reward exploration.
Growth Hack: Use platforms like Galxe, Zealy, or QuestN to create a series of tasks: join your Discord, interact with your dApp, follow your socials — and reward users with NFTs, tokens, or XP points.
4. Cultivate a Community-First Culture
Airdrops may give you users, but community gives you evangelists. A strong, engaged community is your greatest marketing engine.
Growth Hack: Appoint community managers from within your own Discord or Telegram. Offer them tokens or NFTs in exchange for organizing events, moderating chats, and creating memes or educational content.
5. Harness the Power of Token Incentives
Tokenomics isn’t just about price speculation—it’s a marketing lever. When done right, token incentives can drive usage, referrals, and retention.
Growth Hack: Launch a referral program where users earn governance tokens for inviting others. Use smart contracts to automate rewards and make the system transparent and trustless.
6. Launch with a Hype Loop
Don’t just announce—orchestrate. A successful Web3 launch is more like a well-timed campaign than a one-time tweet. Layer your hype across platforms, formats, and community touchpoints to build narrative tension that peaks on launch day.
Growth Hack: Use a countdown strategy:
T-7 days: Post teaser visuals.
T-5 days: Tease the Alpha – Leak Select Insights & Roadmap Nuggets
T-3 days: Run community contests.
T-1 day: Host a live AMA.
Launch day: Drop a big announcement with a call-to-action and clear next steps.
7. Partner With a Niche Crypto Marketing Agency
Sometimes, the best growth hack is to work with people who’ve done it before. A niche crypto marketing agency understands the Web3 audience, the right channels, and how to avoid costly mistakes.
Growth Hack: Vet agencies by their community engagement, past campaign metrics, and how well they understand your tokenomics. Don’t just hire marketers—find Web3-native growth hackers.
Final Thoughts
The rules of Web2 don’t apply in Web3. The crypto world is tribal, fast-paced, and community-led. To succeed, you need more than just marketing—you need a playbook tailored for decentralization.
By implementing these growth hacks and tapping into the power of community, tokens, and on-chain behavior, your project can cut through the noise and build a loyal following.
Whether you’re launching a DeFi app, NFT project, L2 solution, or DAO, remember this: The strongest projects don’t just build — they market smart.
Want a custom strategy for your project? Consider working with a crypto marketing agency that understands the game and plays it well.
